The ASAP 103 operates in two modes, Automatic and Semi-Automatic:
Automatic Mode: The ASAP 103 prohibits incoming calls from direct access to any connected device (unless Caller ID is ON). The ASAP 103 will answer the call on the first ring. Once the call is answered, the ASAP 103 listens for call routing signals.
Semi-Automatic Mode: The ASAP 103 allows incoming calls to simultaneously ring extension phones and the phone/answering machine connected to the ASAP 103. The ASAP 103 will not answer the call, it simply waits for the the answering machine or any phone to answer. Once a call is answered, the ASAP 103 listens for call routing signals. |
